Instructions
Meatballs
Step 1/6
Peel and chop onion and garlic.
Step 2/6
Sauté both in oil until the onions are soft. Set aside and cool.
Step 3/6
Soak the bread in milk.
Step 4/6
Pick and chop herbs.
Step 5/6
Mix everything with onion, garlic, ground beef, egg, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Step 6/6
Stir the mixture vigorously, form into meatballs, and fry them in oil in a pan until golden and cooked through.
Tomato Sauce
Step 1/7
Peel and chop onion and garlic.
Step 2/7
Fry both in olive oil until the onions are soft.
Step 3/7
Add chili flakes and tomato paste, and fry briefly.
Step 4/7
Pour in tomato passata and let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 5/7
Season with sugar, salt and pepper.
Step 6/7
Turn the meatballs in the tomato sauce and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
Step 7/7
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with pasta.
