Step 1/1
Put all the ingredients in a pot, and bring the BBQ sauce to a boil until the brown sugar is melted.

Cut the quails on each side of the backbone. Discard the bone, and rinse the quails for any offal remnants. Pat them dry with kitchen paper.
Step 2/4
Spread them out like a butterfly with the breast side up, season with salt and pepper, and brush them with BBQ sauce.
Step 3/4
Fry them on an oven rack at 220 degrees with hot air and grill function for approx. 15 minutes, or until they are crispy and cooked through.
Step 4/4
Remove the quails from the oven, and brush them again with BBQ sauce.
