Terms and Conditions
The purchase conditions apply to consumers' purchases of goods at gastrotools.dk. The site is owned and operated by:

Payment

Payment can be made using the following payment methods: VISA/Dankort, MasterCard, MobilePay, ViaBill. For payments made with cards - except Dankort - the payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card until we either process or reject the payment.

The amount is charged when the goods are dispatched.

If multiple items are ordered in one order, and one or more of the items cannot be delivered immediately, we will only charge for these items when they are dispatched.

Delivery

We deliver goods to addresses in Denmark. The goods are delivered 1 to 3 days after your order.

We offer the following delivery methods: Bring Parcel Shop, Budbee Home Delivery, GLS Parcel Shop, GLS Home Delivery, GLS Business Delivery.

Right of Withdrawal

You can cancel your purchase without reason within 30 days. If you have purchased multiple items in one order, you can choose to cancel the purchase of some or all of the items. We do not refund delivery costs for partial cancellation.

The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you, or another person you have chosen to receive the item (but not the carrier), take physical possession of the item.

If you have ordered multiple items in one order, and we cannot deliver the items simultaneously, the withdrawal period starts when you take physical possession of the last item.

If you have ordered several parts or batches, the withdrawal period starts when you take physical possession of the last part or batch.

If the deadline falls on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday.

How to Cancel

You cancel by clearly informing us that you wish to cancel. You can, for example, send a letter or an email stating that you wish to cancel to Gastrotools ApS, Baggesensgade 4C, 2nd floor, 2200 Copenhagen N, tel.: +45 71 99 51 70, info@gastrotools.dk.

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without also informing us that you wish to cancel.

You may use the law’s standard cancellation form included at the end of these sales and delivery conditions, but it is not mandatory.

You can also fill out a cancellation form on our website here: https://return.coolrunner.dk/Gastrotools/DK. If you do this, we will immediately acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by email.

The cancellation period is complied with if you send your notice of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Returning the Item and Return Costs

If you have canceled the purchase of an item, you must send or deliver the item to PakkecenterNORD C/O Gastrotools ApS Østre Fælledvej 119400 Nørresundby without undue delay and within 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the items within the 14 days.

Items cannot be sent by cash on delivery or without distribution.

We cover the costs associated with the return of the item. You can request a package label through our return portal: https://return.coolrunner.dk/Gastrotools/DK

Refund of Money upon Cancellation

When you cancel, we will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs. This does not apply to additional costs when you have chosen a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest form of delivery we offer.

If you have purchased multiple items in an order and only cancel part of your purchase, we do not refund the delivery costs.

We will refund the amount without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received your notice of cancellation. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or until you have provided documentation that the goods have been returned.

We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

Condition of the Item on Return and Packaging

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Normally, you can inspect and test the item in the same way as you would be allowed to in a shop.

You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging may be opened but not damaged. If the packaging is missing or damaged, it may result in a decrease in value for which you are liable.

You should also ensure that the item is securely packed when you return it. You bear the risk for the package/items until we receive them. Therefore, keep the postal receipt and any track and trace number.

Complaint - If There Is Something Wrong with the Item or Service

The Purchase Act applies if you buy a product, a digital service, or a digital performance, and there is a defect in the purchased item. A defect might be a material or manufacturing error, or incorrect information about what you have purchased. However, normal wear and tear or damage you have caused yourself is not considered a defect.

You can complain about defects in the item or service for up to 2 years from the delivery date. You can make a complaint by contacting our customer service department at info@gastrotools.dk. You should contact us within a reasonable time after you have discovered the fault. If there is a shipping damage, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible. If you contact us within 2 months after you have discovered the fault, your complaint will always be timely.

We ask you to inform us as detailed as possible about the problem and possibly send pictures of the fault. If we need to examine the item, it should be sent to:

You can download a free shipping label from our website here: https://return.coolrunner.dk/Gastrotools/DK. If you choose to return the item yourself, we will refund your reasonable and documented shipping costs, however, only up to the cost it incurs when you use our shipping label.

The item must be sent in proper packaging.

Complaint Options

If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following complaint options:

A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Complaints House, Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint Portal for the Complaints House. The Mediation Team will attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if it is not possible to find a solution, you can bring the complaint before the Consumer Complaints Board.

As a general rule, it is a condition for filing a complaint that the product or service you wish to complain about has cost at least 1,110 DKK and no more than 100,000 DKK. For complaints about clothing and shoes, the price must be at least 720 DKK. A fee is charged for handling the complaint.

The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used to file a complaint. This is particularly relevant for consumers residing in another EU country. Complaints are submitted here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, you must specify our email address: info@gastrotools.dk.

Other Terms

Gift Cards

Gift cards for gastrotools.dk are valid for 2 years from the date of issuance of the gift card. Any remaining value can be redeemed within a year after the gift card expires.
