These terms & conditions apply to the purchase of goods on gastrotools.com
1. Payment
At gastrotools you can use all visa cards, mastercard and paypal. When paying by card, the amount is deducted from your account at the earliest when the item is sent from us.
All amounts are in euro (EUR) and include vat. We do not charge a payment fee.
We use an approved payment server that encrypts all your payment information with ssl (secure socket layer protocol). This means that your information cannot be intercepted. Our payment provider meets the requirements of pci dss. Payment on the website is also approved by 3d-secure.
We do not enter into purchase agreements with minors (under 18) without approval from a parent or guardian.
2. Shipping
At gastrotools we offer different delivery options based on buyer location. In most cases delivery will be possible either at your home address or by pick-up at the nearest post office. Shipping costs is dependent on buyer location and shipping method.
If your package is delivered to a drop-off point (parcel shop, package box), you will in most cases have 14 days to collect the package, however this can vary from country to country. If collection does not take place within pick-up window, the package will be returned and you will receive your money back once the package has arrived at our warehouse.
We ship your goods within 1-3 working days in eu unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Gastrotools is responsible for the goods until you have received them.
If gastrotools expects that the order cannot be delivered within the agreed time, this will be notified to you via the e-mail address that you have specified when ordering. Here we provide information about the reason for the delay and a new delivery time. Should this occur, you of course have the right to cancel your purchase at no extra cost.
2.1 shipping damage
In the event of any shipping damage, we ask you to contact our customer service at the email address: info@gastrotools.com immediately. It is important that shipping damage is reported within 3 days of receipt, i.e. Unpacking of goods must be done immediately to check its condition.
If the goods have been damaged during shipping, we ask that you take pictures and describe the damage, so that we can claim the goods and compensate you.
If you receive a damaged product, please contact us at info@gastrotools.com immediately and send photos of the damage. If the damage has occurred during transport, your product will be replaced with a new product or reimbursed upon return of the item.
3. Your order
When your order has arrived at the post office, an sms and/or e-mail notification is sent confirming that you can pick up your package. If you have not collected your package within the pick-up window (in most cases 14-days, however can vary based on location), the package will be sent back to us. We do not charge a fee for no-show collection.
4. Right to complain
The consumer purchase act applies to purchases of goods within EU.
When you shop with us as a consumer, you have the right to complain for three years. If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either get the item repaired or replaced.
You can also get the money back or a discount on the price, all depending on the specific situation.
You must make a complaint within a "reasonable time" after discovering the fault. A complaint made within two months after the fault has been discovered is always considered to have been made within reasonable time.
Please note that the right to complain does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect use of the product.
A complaint request is made by sending us an email at info@gastrotools.com where you enter the order number, describe the problem/error and attach a photos that show the problem/error.
If the complaint is justified, together with our customer service you will come up with a solution that suits the specific situation, i.e. Whether it is a repair, a new item or a refund.
In the event of a complaint, we recommend that you send back the item(s) via our return portal, as well as in the case of a return, as it simplifies our reimbursement of the shipping. The product must always be sent back in suitable and responsible packaging.
In the event of an approved complaint, you will be refunded to the same payment method that was used at the time of purchase. If extra costs have been incurred in connection with an approved complaint, such as shipping fees, this will also be refunded against a receipt. In the event of an approved complaint, we are liable for all costs including shipping.
Please note: we do not redeem products that are returned against cash on delivery or cash on delivery.
Any dispute must be resolved by the european commission online dispute resolution (eu odr).

5. Right of withdrawal
It is free to return goods at gastrotools.
According to the eu legislation on the right of withdrawal, you as a consumer have 14 days to cancel your purchase from the time you received your goods. At gastrotools, however, we have extended this period to 30 days.
We apply a 30-day right of withdrawal. If you wish to cancel an item, you need to contact us within 30 days from the pick-up date.
You contact us at the email address info@gastrotools.com. In your message, you must clearly inform us that you wish to use your right of withdrawal. When you have notified us that you wish to use the right of withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the item.
If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline starts to run from the day you receive the last item. The deadline means that you have the right to notify us within 30 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase.
You have the right to get the money back in case of right of withdrawal within 14 days from the day we received the message. However, you may have to wait until the item has been returned to us or you provide proof that the item has been returned to us.
As a consumer, you have the right to open the packaging and check that the product is working. At the same time, you are responsible for any reduction in value of the item if it has been handled beyond what is required to be able to determine the item's type, properties and function.
As a consumer, you have the right to a refund within 14 days from the time we received the notification that the right of withdrawal or open purchase is applicable to the item.
5.1 partial cancellation
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more items, even if they are part of the same order.
The right of withdrawal and open purchase applies to all purchases including sale items. You can therefore return goods as usual as long as they meet the requirements for return: https://gastrotools.com/policies/refund-policy
6. Open purchase
If you do not wish to use our return solution via our return portal, you can send the item back with your preferred shipping provider to our following return address.

you have the right to get the money back in case of right of withdrawal within 14 days from the day we received the message. However, you may have to wait until the item has been returned to us or you provide proof that the item has been returned to us.
We will refund the money with the same means of payment that you used for the purchase, provided that nothing else has been agreed.
7. Condition of the product upon return
You are responsible for a decrease in value that is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the properties and function. In other words - you can try the product in the same way as you would in a physical store.
If the product has been handled in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back. The size of the deduction is determined based on the item's remaining sales value.
To get the full amount back, the same rules apply as when buying in a physical store.
You can of course try the products, but please note that we can only accept returned products if they are unused and complete.
If your item has special packaging and it is missing upon return, it may result in a reduction in value.
8. Refund
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you will get your money back. If there has been a reduction in value, we will deduct the amount you are responsible for.
We will refund all payments from you, including delivery costs (but not extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen an alternative to the cheapest option we offer) no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice that you wish to cancel your purchase agreement.
We will refund the money to the same means of payment that you used for the purchase, provided that nothing else has been agreed.
You have the right to get the money back in case of right of withdrawal within 14 days from the day we received the notification that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, you may have to wait until the item has been returned to us or you provide proof that the item has been returned to us.
We do not redeem products that are returned against cash on delivery or cash on delivery.
9. Exchange of goods
If you wish to exchange one or more items in your order, we ask you to return the items you no longer want and make a new purchase.
10. Force majeure
Gastrotools is released from liability for damages and other penalties for preventing, hindering or delaying the agreement due to circumstances beyond our control. Government interventions, new/amended legislation, lack of funds, war, fire, flood, labor disruptions, bans, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of supplies from suppliers are taken into account as triggering factors, as well as the company being exposed to criminal activities such as affects the business.
11. Fraud
All fraud is reported to the authorities and we reserve the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion arises.
12. Privacy and cookie policy
by using the website gastrotools.com, you accept that we process your personal data according to our privacy and cookie policy, which you can find here. We are aware of the need for adequate protection of and justifiable processing of your personal information.
Personal data is any information that can be used to identify a person, including, but not limited to, first and last name, age, gender, private address or other physical address, e-mail addresses or other contact information, regardless of whether it concerns the private residence or workplace.
We need the following information when you shop with us: name, address, phone number and email address.
We use coolrunner (cvr: 36721146) and bring (org. No. 556528-8197) as a shipping solution and in this context forward the above mentioned information to these partners.
The company does not collect personally identifiable information about you from third parties and does not save information about means of payment, such as card numbers on payment cards, bank account numbers or the like.
The personal data is registered with gastrotools aps and saved for five years. The data is then deleted.
We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. Companies process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We only work with data processors in the eu or in countries that can provide your data with adequate protection.

As registered with gastrotools aps, you always have the right to object to registration and processing. You also have the right to receive information about what information is registered about you. These rights follow from the data protection regulation (eu). Inquiries in this regard should be sent to: info@gastrotools.com.
13. Changes
We may revise these terms & conditions at any time. Each time you order a product from us, the general terms and conditions that were current at the time of the agreement between you and gastrotools apply. You should therefore regularly visit this page to read the current terms and conditions to which you are bound.

Should we not reach a solution, you have the option to proceed with the matter to the european commission online dispute resolution (eu odr).
