Incomparable hardness and sharpness

The kitchen knives forged from VG-10 steel are both harder and sharper than most other kitchen knives. This is in part due to the unique mineral composition with a very high carbon content. All in all this means that our kitchen knives achieve a hardness of 61 HRC on the Rockwell Scale, while other kitchen knives will typically be around 55 HRC. This also means that the knives keep sharp for a very long time.

Aesthetic beauty and ultimate sharpness

Our kitchen knives are forged with an extremely hard steel core. There are then 66 layers of protective stainless steel forged around the core. During production the steel is heated, hammered and cooled down many times. This is what creates the characteristic wave pattern and allows for optimal bonding of the metal.
